Ms. Anett Varga is currently continuing an MA program in American Studies at Eötvös Lóránd University. Her main areas of interest are the 20th-century U.S. history and Constitutional interpretation in the U.S. Supreme Court. She earned her BA in English and American Studies at Pázmány Péter Catholic University and she wrote her thesis on the effects of the Cold War on the Civil Rights Movement. Her current thesis will focus on the history and crisis of the American birthright citizenship.
Besides her studies she works as a program coordinator in the U.S. Government initiated American Spaces project in the American Corner Budapest office. She also completed an internship in the Political and Economic section of the United States Embassy in Budapest.
